If you mean Yahoo or MSN messenger, then either program has an option where you can tell it not to record message history. If you mean Yahoo or Hotmail email, just delete the email?

open yahoo messenger
and than click on -> contact from @ from the main menu of yahoo messenger
then click on of message archive ..
long list will be open for on ur pc
and now u can delet .. u want to del ... by ids .. also

Messengers usually aren't set to save message history, you would have had to set this on for it to happen.

go to contacts
then archive
then delete all the coversation from there
