Could anyone please give me any good urls for websites that teach one how to create websites from beginner level. I also need to figure out how to create websites that will load different types of pages and information based on the user who has logged in. I have no idea about the database system or how one would program it. Thanks a lot

Can I go wireless on my Dell Latitude 600 Laptop? The Dell customer rep. said that if there is a small antenna logo on my screen then I can , but I thought one had to buy an adaptor and all that other stuff.
Is it possible for me to go wireless on my computer? ANy suggestions??

I'm pretty sure the power supply went out and ruined my motherboard, i want it to boot like normal so i can get to all my files and stuff without alot of trouble. I have an emachines C1641. If i put a new motherboard in it will it work just like it did? Please Help

the automatic security update downloaded smthg not genuine acc. to the microsoft a few days . since then i 've been recieving alerts frm the microsoft abt that my system is at risk.
i tried to turn off the automatic updates . but , then the computer gives the warning that it may be dangerous coz, the security updates will not take place .

i m in afix now, wat shud i do .shall i allow the auto updates to update my system.

when iam using tabbed browsing in yahoo toolbar,can i open a link in a new background (or fore ground) tab, as in the case of windows live toolbar? other wise whenever i right click a link,it shows "open in new window" and iam forced to open a new window.

I've had my laptop for a pretty short time, and i started hearing a high pitched whine inside it. I'm prety sure its the hard drive because whenever i open a program or the laptop is processing something, the whine goes away. But when I'm not opening a program, (listening to music, typing, etc.), the high pitch whine is there. Its not a major problem, but it gets annoying in quiet places like the library. Is there a way to fix this????

I have a netgear wireless router that my roomates and I use to connect to the internet. The problem we have though is that our neighbors keep connecting to OUR internet through the wireless router, and it is completely slowing my connection speed down. Is there a way that I can set up some kind of password to protect against this?

the myspace craze is starting to get to me. no, i'm NOT a person who follows the crowd- practicaly never do- and thats y i dont hav a myspace. i hav better things to do with my rime than sitting around blogging all day=P it kinda sickens me how ppl let their lives revolve around it.
but l8ly, i realized that some pretty cool ppl r on it. my cuz has a myspace and just the onther night we discovered that the queen, yes the Queen of England, is on there-along with the practically the whole royal family, including Prince William<3- plus i really like Danity Kane, and they're on it too, and i'd lov to see their pics and stuff.
i really dont want to get caught up in the myspace craze, and i dont care if everybody is on it, but it seems ok.... but wat do u think?

the old cpu was a intel celeron d with 2.50 GHZ the new one's gonna be an AMD athlon with 2.00 ghz 3200+.. can i connect the new motherboard and the new processor to the old harddrive and still expect it to work fine as the primary drive and be able to access all the files in the harddrive?? i'm also using a new power supply thats a 24 pin compared to the old motherboard which used a 20 pin. furthermore my harddrive uses a windows XP and its from a 2003 compaq S6010V and i don't have the cd i originally used to install the windows XP.. now that u know the situation any answers and suggestions??

Ok I work in an insurance office and we send out birthday letters and policy anniversary letters. At the top of every letter is that clients name and address. And the it says dear client (but uses their name, obviously) Well everytime I do a new letter I have to erase the old name and adress and enter the new one. Is there some way or formula to get it to enter it for me or will this always take me FOREVER. Let me know if I need to explain it better! Thank-you!!

I want to use the microsoft office document library to store forms that people can edit and route to other people but the problem is that the author is the only person who can set up a review cycle for the document and I want to let anybody set a cycle. Is there any way to bypass this through lotus script or other options.

ok im trying to download new pictures and it keeps telling me the picture is too big so i go to this problem and i decrease the size and then try again;it downloads fine but the problem is that the picture doesnt show its just blank?...

system specs.: amd sempron 2800+ (64 bit) ; motherboard asus k8n-e ; 512 mb ram. the problem is that when I connect the utp lan cable to the onboard ethernet adapter it doesn't recieve packets. It isn't a broblem with the cable, I tryed it with another network card. the switch is trendnet 10/100 mbps. The onboard card is 10/100/1000 mbps nvidia nforce. The traffic monitorisation software that came with it shows me that it recieves packets but windows doesn't... I don't even have ping or arping. I disabeled the firewall too.
