so braodband is "always on"?
but i only have a laptop, i am moving into a flat that is getting telewest broadband when i am in the UK next month. What device do i need to get to have wireless connection? Or will my dell9300 just pick up the signal ?

VirtualHost and RewriteRule are in conflict, maybe?
i Have this URI = http://www.classicjewelry.com/diamondjewelry/product_detail.php/pid=197~subid=59/index.html

The /diamondjewelry/ is set by VirtualHost file as an Alias, so it not realy exists.

I tried add .htaccess to that physical folder it alias to say just turn http://classicjewelry.com/diamondjewelry/...

to

http://www.classicjewelry.com/diamondjewelry/...

and failed. It works only on the root:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^classicjewelry\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.classicjewelry.com/$1 [R=301,L]

What to do?

but the shop assistant says if he's only 8 it's not a wise move cause the games are mainly for over 12's and they are quite delicate and can't really withstand an accident like dropping or whatever. I'm wondering what to do or can anyone suggest a more robust alternative?

Is anyone having problems with verizon dsl in the baltimore area. My modem box internet light keeps going off. Is anyone having the same problem? I called them and they said it was an outage in the middle of the night, but my modem or internet still doesn't want to stay on.

I am working in technology this year......still learning. Does anyone know when you have a brand new ip phone straight out of the box, set it up on pc, how do I get an ip address to enter in the phone for the extension I want? When I enter an ip address, it says ip address conflict (guessing this one is already being used). I know that when you change phones, you have to reset it and enter the ip address then. I went to configure, services, ip telephony, ip terminals, nortel, ip term status tab, this is where I am stuck. Normally I write down ip # on ext I want, but don't know it.

Dear All,

Command.exe is absolute hell. I have spent more than 24 hours non stop trying to deal with the malice of this malicious script.

I was infected with:

Surfkick - on Add and Remove Programs.
Spyware.ISearch
Adware.Look2Me - which runs command.exe

Apparently the publisher is:
iDownload.com

If this website publishes material like this, laws should be enacted to make it illegal.

I happened to catch all this and more whilst trying to download through Limewire.

I have had no sleep. In the end I tried frantically to get my system back to factory condition using manufacturer's CD, and reinstalled everything again.

WHAT THE MALICIOUS SCRIPTS DO:

*When you try to search in google and the address bar (e.g. "how to remove command.exe, the script continually hijacks the search and sends you to ads advertising "free" spyware removal and random rubbish.

* Norton, Anti-Adware software fail.

Does any one have a reputable and genuine way of removing command

i have a belkin wireless card it works fine for about 5 mins after that a window pops up telling me i need to connect the lights on my card goes out i have to then click on the small double tv on bottom of my screen then another window pops up with wireless connection inside the window is a box with connect on i have to click this to gget back on the net. please help?

Windows is driving me nuts!!. I had to reinstall windows & ever since (2 days) every time I log into a 'secure' https site I get hammered with explorer popups about invalid certificates, sites like Ebay, Paypal and even Yahoo!
