If you have XP pro it comes with a back up utility. You can set it to backup daily. Below are the instructions.

In XP, I know there are scripts, programs, but, I switched to Linux, where all that stuff works so well, in "Cron" and forgot an awful bunch of problems!
But, I know that you can google for it...
