Does anyone know of a program for Windows XP that will backup any file of the users choice automaticaly on a given day to a drive of the users choice?

The PC is a XP Home edition Dell that comes only with system restore discs. So I can't get to the ntbackup program.

There are like hundreds programs that make that. And many of them are freeware so just check this website and try some

If you have XP pro it comes with a back up utility. You can set it to backup daily. Below are the instructions.

In XP, I know there are scripts, programs, but, I switched to Linux, where all that stuff works so well, in "Cron" and forgot an awful bunch of problems!

But, I know that you can google for it...

Left click on Start
Left click on Run
Type ntbackup

That will do it for you.
