the myspace craze is starting to get to me. no, i'm NOT a person who follows the crowd- practicaly never do- and thats y i dont hav a myspace. i hav better things to do with my rime than sitting around blogging all day=P it kinda sickens me how ppl let their lives revolve around it.
but l8ly, i realized that some pretty cool ppl r on it. my cuz has a myspace and just the onther night we discovered that the queen, yes the Queen of England, is on there-along with the practically the whole royal family, including Prince William<3- plus i really like Danity Kane, and they're on it too, and i'd lov to see their pics and stuff.
i really dont want to get caught up in the myspace craze, and i dont care if everybody is on it, but it seems ok.... but wat do u think?

It's not like a chemical addiction. As such you have a higher degree of control over it as addictions go.

I personally might check it once a day. Sometimes I don't check it for a week. In contrast to many MySpace participants the only ones listed in my "Friends" section are people I actually know in real life. I'm leaving my job here in California and am moving back to Montana. MySpace, since most of my friends have it too, lets me keep in touch with them.

Am I addicted? No, but then I'm also the type that will leave my cell phone at home when I go out socially. (That's the other ridiculously popular trend: To be addicted to your cellphone.)

I think its just for fun. Im 26, and I've had an acct for almost a yr, I meet people all the time and its great to make new friends. Its so hard as an adult to make new friends, Especially girl friends, and myspace has opened up a whole new world of friends for me. NOW... Every weekend there is something to do, and somewhere to hang out, and these people live close to me. I would have NEVER known them otherwise. Its amazing. Its very hard to meet people when you work 50 hours a week and go to school 4 days each week, so its really nice to know people that you can hang out with on the weekends. I had lots of friends prior to myspace, but now I HAVE TONS... Its so much fun. Check it out. Good luck

All I know is, I joined myspace so I could view a good friend of mine's site. A few days later...a very close friend of mine that I lost touch with several years back, found me. I have been looking for that person for a long time. Myspace is good in my books. I have no idea how she found me...but it was easy I guess. I've only put my name up and no other info. So as far as I'm concerned...myspace rocks!

Myspace is a great way to make new friends and stay in touch with current and rekindle old friendships.

It can be addictive, but usually after the novelty wears off you'll use it less and less. But watch out in the beginning, you'll be using it probably more than you should. Some companies even have it blocked from their servers because people are so drawn to it.

Have fun, its a blast!

myspace isn't a bad thing. Myspace is a great way to meet new people and to strengthen existing connections. You can also catch up with like a million of your old classmates. Overall, I think Myspace is good at what it does; it's a good social networker. However, it sucks up too much of mine (and everyone's) time. It's tempting to lead an online social life rather than a real one because it's so much easier. But it leads to too many delusions and addictions. Myspace Junkie, anyone?

myspace is a waste of time filled with a land of sicko, pedophiles and trolls who jus flame people all day. I deleted my account within a couple months, it lacks the real life connections needed for a successful social interactive life.. go reality, for the win.

Myspace is fun...more music related stuff on it.
Yahoo 360 is more fun in my opinion..easier to have people who really share your interests.
And MSN in is pretty good too..though they still have a lot of stuff to do to get it up to match what Yahoo has so far as to linking friends,

MySpace is a social networking website based in West Hollywood, California offering an interactive, user-submitted network of blogs, profiles, groups, photos, MP3s, videos and an internal e-mail system.

I joined myspace for about a month. Personally I think it is overrated. I had nearly one hundred visits to my profile, but very few friends. I no longer have an account there.

Perhaps you will have better luck.

My space is very fun and I was totally hooked for about two months. After that it's like everything else you tire of it and don't go on as much. When you do go on and friends stop sending you messages send one out to them and the ball will start rolling again.

Please don't fall into the trap of believing what you see on it, the Queen of England, and don't give out personal info. Only accept your friends.

My space is fun but it can also be dangerous.
