I have a AMD Sempron 2200+ 1.49GHz. It keeps on freezing several times a day even with minimal work load. I got 368MB RAM on the machine, still freezes. Should I increase RAM or what?

ok i was just on a cruise and i met these two guys which are like best friends. I kno they live in nj cause they told me. I have just paced few bids on 3-4 ebay items.
the seller mentions in payment methods :
-Paypal pereferred
-personal check
-Money order
-Other

a) I do not have paypal account. I want to pay with my credit card
--does't this "other" includde credit card??
b) Let's say I am wining those items , do I have to do something else? by which way sellers is getting money from my credit card?

In my printer guide it says to only use genuine epson cartridges because using a refill cartridge like they sell at staples for considerably less could affect print quality and even damage my printer.

Is this really true can the cheaper printer cartridges damage it?

when system runs "Xwindows" monitor goes to standby mode.
in the text-mode when I run "X",again monitor goes to standby mode.
I dont know whether the problem is my monitor or graphic card.
When I run "Yast" in the text-mode, when I choose "hardware->graphic card
and monitor" it didn't respond.

what shoud I do?

I want to blog about issues I don't want associating with my 'work' self. How do I choose a blog host that has a good anonymity record, in other words, I don't want it to be easy for people to match up my IP address or access my personal details.
Also, having set the blog up, how do you encourage high volume visitors?
I've only used LJ before and I want to try something a bit different, but anonymity is the biggest issue for me. Would welcome suggestions of good free blog hosts.

Nothing pops up. I then go to my computer and it doesnt show up there either. I know it works on other computers, and the usb ports on this computer work becasue the printer and scanner work. Any suggestions?
