Do these people who put out computer viruses ever get caught?
And do they go to jail? What is their punishment?

I haven't heard of any of them getting caught..doesn't mean they don't ..I just don't think they make a big "News story" deal about them... Bigger problems online...

I think that the reason you don't see any people getting caught for that is because you say it's ok for them to install without knowing it.
Whenever you install a program, there is a long legal thing that we usually skip over. You agree to their terms just by installing the main program, and there are a lot of the details that you skip over that you shouldn't.
