WAP is a Wireless Access Point. But, yes you can have an internet capable phone. Just go speak with different providers and find one which fits your needs best.
Don't go out and sign up for the first service you find. Check out at least six different providers and what they have to offer, both in cost, equipment (phones, and accessories) and plans. Read the contracts and be an informed consumer. Don't get locked into an account for two years and then find out a month later there was a much better service that fit your needs better.
Good luck on finding a service that fits your lifestyle and ability to pay.

Usally its called WAP but it all depends on the type of phone youre using or thinking of buying. Remember, check with the type of phone you're going to buy and what it's features it has before you buy one. Most Motorola and Nokia phones have WAP.

You need to contact your service provider and get it activated or added to your account it also depends on whether your phone is WAP compatible and what service/payment plan you are on.
