deleting all my information, so i can transfer them over and the format the other bit. Like formting half the hard-drive and installing windows then doing the other half and making it all one? as i do not have a cd burner.

How Scotty picked up the mouse attached to the pc in the aluminium factory and said "hello computer" - and then when he realised that he had to use a keyboard sand "how quaint" - HOW BLOODY LONG IS IT GOING TO BE BEFORE COMPUTERS GET BEYOND ''how quaint" please ? Would it be safe to delete a " .tmp " file.

Im trying to free up space on my hard drive.
There is about 10 .tmp files in a temporary folder on my pc
if I was to delete them I would free up about 5 GB.

I try to Open the files and I get a pop up that reads........
Windows cannot open this file.
to open this file, Windows need to know what program created it.

Since they are just Temp files it should be safe to delet them right?
Someone help. Thx
