I have been a Corel Office User for many years -- and yes, my files and all the associated stuff (spreadsheets, address books, etc) were able to be read with subsequently released Word Perfect and Corel Office software. By the way -- I am now on rev 13 of the Corel office, so even the files I developed as part of my profession are still able to be read, referenced, and printed/downloaded/messaged, etc.
