When I insert a CD where does that infoformation get stored on my hard drive? Is it a temp file?

Financial information on a CD, I don't want it stored on my hard drive.

Can I configure my computer to make it work faster? Please advise. I am having a particular probem with a Radio web site where I try to answer trivia questions. They recently changed the format of the web site and it now takes 5 minutes to answer 3 questions. Before they changed the format of the web site, it would take about 1 minute to answer 3 questions. Help!!!!!!!

What is so great about it??? The scrollbars are ugly. The links are not working. Its stupid. Ugh! I need to give it some time. Ha, no seriously... Whats the bog deal. Plz explain. I recently added a slideshow to my page but now it puts my box that has my pic and subject etc, way close to the bottom of my page where it should be at the top left hand of my page when I open the page. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I deleted the slideshow just to see if it would go back but i did not. Other than that, I have done nothing else to my html code that would have changed this....

OK I have a satelite internet and I have vonage which both work great. now my question is I am trying to fax from my fax console which I installed from windows at the control panel/printers and other hardware/printers and faxes. I set it up and try to fax and i get the message 1. Dialing 1 XXX XXX XXXX - 2. No dial tone the phone line in use or not connected - 3. The attempt to send the fax failed.

Please Help Me...

I downloaded the new messanger service where you can talk to people from msn and yahoo.... and for some reason it's not allowing my friends that are on msn to appear online even when I know that they are online... does anyone know why this is? Do they have to have yahoo email accounts, because that would be redundant if the two companies really wanted to combine the two, please help!

I am using partition magic 8.0 and each time that i try to create a new partition on my hard disk, i get an error message, (it think number #2103), that the disk could not be partitioned to the requested size. There is enough space on my hard drive (more than enough) and I have tried to do it both from a FAT32 drive and an NTFS, to no avail. But it is possible for me to shift the available space from one partition to the other.
Anybody got ideas to help me? I want to create another partion to add to the existing two.
