Has anyone used Knoppix/Linux live cd?

Do you think it's possible to store a light weight version of Knoppix and some hdd formating software etc on a spv to boot the pc using the usb connection? or is the usb driver a problem?

I'm SO ignorant about setting up a wireless network. From everything I read, you need a land line. If that is so, what's the point. I'm so confused. At one time, we had an isp service & paid dearly for it. Additionally, we live in the country, so dsl/broadis out of the question. Is there any hope?

I have a red circle with a slash which says this message from time to time:

There is also a caution icon which says like every minute or less:

My laptop wasn't working so my friend put in a bigger hardrive for me and it worked for a while. Well about a couple days ago, my laptop started making these weird clicking sounds. After a click my computer would freeze and I would have to shut it down completley and restart. Well that happened today and a black screen came up and in red letters it said" Hardrive Not Found". What happened and how can I fix it? I am on my home computer right now NOT my LAPTOP!

You type in what you want and you pick a background and it comes up with bubble letter graffiti. you can always have solid colors in the graffiti or fading colors like from red to blue dark blue ro light blue and so on.

i had reported to Yahoo mail abuse and they gave me the IP address i have found out where the sender is from but i need to find out who exactly it is. because its yahoo id the internet provider gives unique IP number and so its difficult to trace. it's very important for me to find out who this person is. can anyone help me.
