My laptop wasn't working so my friend put in a bigger hardrive for me and it worked for a while. Well about a couple days ago, my laptop started making these weird clicking sounds. After a click my computer would freeze and I would have to shut it down completley and restart. Well that happened today and a black screen came up and in red letters it said" Hardrive Not Found". What happened and how can I fix it? I am on my home computer right now NOT my LAPTOP!

First of all please check whether the hard disk is compatible with your system configuration
Try reattaching the hard disk....
Make sure that your motherboard supports the size of your hard disk....most of the older motherboards do not support 80Gb hard disks....
Since it is a latop...It may be due to over heating.
Most of the AMD processors get heated up .....

Something is wrong with your connection. What brand is your computer? You will need to disconnect your hard drive and connect it again. There is something wrong with the connection thats making it not readable.
