When I insert a CD where does that info go on my hard drive?

When I insert a CD where does that infoformation get stored on my hard drive? Is it a temp file?

Financial information on a CD, I don't want it stored on my hard drive.

it doesn't get saved on your Hard drive... the cd is being read.. the only way something is SAVED is if you need to install something

as long as you dont copy and paste the information on to the hard drive there shouldnt be a problem with where its being stored

it stay on the cd and if u wont to put it on our computer you can put it on
