I downloaded a game from internet , pressed "open" +run... now it has been "loading" (?) files for about half-an-hour. Is it normal?

No thats not very normal, but it also depends on how big the download is and how fast your system is when it installs programs into your computer. If its trying to install directly from a server, then it could be your ISP.

You are opening the files on the other computer. What you would do, is to SAVE the files to your own computer, and then RUN..

It depends on how long the game is and how long it honestly takes to download.
