If it's a .pdf you can't. Sometimes thery may be an option onthe toolbar to switch to a normal cursor.

It's probably not a form that allows you to alter it. Print out the form and use a typewriter or a pen to fill it out.

I'm not sure. Did you press the insert key. Look at the instructions. Sometimes you have to save the document and then key in your information. Good luck. I know it can be frustrating.

If using ADOBE...it means your in a wright protected form and you need to print it and hand wright it...some either doesn't want anyone saving their information too it or forgot to make it editable.. I dunno of any other form program that uses a hand icon..

move the hand to the file you need to type in.
click
the hand should turn to a flashing bar.
Type.
