The paint on my 'k' key is worn out. Not that I use that key more, just that my finger rests on it more than any other. Is that weird or what?

which one of those 2 are better
the 2nd one has 4 more PCI slots
but only goes up to 2 gig of ram
the 1st one only has 1 pci slot
but goes up to 4 gig of ram

I have Windows XP SP2, and I ran a port scanning utility to see if I have any open ports. Port 68 was listed as "closed," is there anyway I can open it? I have went to my firewall options and added it as an exception, and then even went as far as to disable my firewall. It still says the port is "closed." Any help on opening it?

Windows croaked on my dual boot machine. Linux boots and runs just fine.

The windows XP disk can't see the drive. I'm guessing that the bootloader confuses Windows.

Bootloader is Grub.

How to remove it / make drive accessible?

every time i go to look at a category like ill choose pets the click cats and it says drats nothings here right now and im like yes there is there has to be and then i check the other categorys and they all say the same im guessing somethings wrong with yahoo anyone else having this problem?

If a notebook card states that it has transfer rates up to 54mbps and 2.4g operating range, and a desktop card says the same, than are they equal? doesn't the big antenna infer anything on the desktop card, such as greater distances??

Using Windows XP on NTFS, I formatted my drive yesterday and there was one folder I forgot to backup.

Are there programs out there I can use to retrieve it? Hopefully a FREE program?

The only things that work reliably on Yahoo are the banner advertisements and the pay services, like Yahoo Personals. I just clicked on "Answer Open Questions" in "all categories" and it told me "Drat, there are no questions here. Try another category" I tried this 5 times and got the same result. Better get your act together Yahoo.

About a month ago, the hardrive on my computer broke down. Someone came a few days later and fixed it, and since then everything's been fine. (We're going to get a new harddrive soon though.)
But the only thing that's not working are the speakers. I can hear static on it, or you might call it a dead noise. Anyway I can tell it's on, because the green light is on. Both speakers are also plugged in. But I'm not getting any sound, and I've tried everything I can think of. Suggestions?

On Windowns XP, the original start up page is a blue page with the names, and the password, well mines wont do that. When my page starts up, it comes up as a window, with a user name and password. and when it tells me to type the password, and it tells me that it is not correct, so can anyone help me.
