Thats the toilet for your junk mail... stop checking it! If you have Spam guard in place, thats where they go!

Unfortunately there is no single setting for that. What you can do is go to:
options and under the general preferences you look for Block Mail. Click on that. It will allow you to block the unwanted senders by entering their e-mail adresses.
In the future, to avoid that you get all that bulk mail, give them a different e-mail adress when you order something online(i.e., open another e-mail account just for that). Good Luck

I keep reporting any ads I get on mail as spam, ever since the number of bulk mail has been gettin fewer and fewer as the days pass. most bulk is from mailing lists so reporting ads as spam blocks your mail and bulk mail both.

*Set-up your filters
*Just click empty on the bulk messages bin everyday
*Check if the emails have a "Click Here to not recieve emails from us anymore- or something like that" or instructions on how to stop receiving emails from them

like I stated one thousand circumstances, considering "Yahoo solutions" i'm getting a million better than everyday, purely delete or empty bulk, do no longer even open it, it is all junk & maximum in all probability secret agent ware.
