A pop-up balloon appears when I try to synchronize and when I click it, there is a message about an unknown device in the USB Root Hub. I can get the Treo to synchronize via the infrared port on my laptop but the synchronization cable will not work.

One day I couldn't access Geocities sites using Internet Explorer. I tried Firefox and got similar results, both just time out trying to load the page. I didn't change any sort of settings at all, what could be the problem?

I'm pretty new to having something go wrong with my computer. I never owned one, and bought my first back in October of last year. It worked super, but now it's constantly freezing. I have a very fast computer and have no problems in the past with 6 or 7 applications up at once. Now it freezings if I have more than one up. I noticed my AIM makes weird sounds too when someone types a message. It triple beeps instead of just one beep. I talked to a friend and she said I may have a virus and need to defrag my computer. Is there a way to fix this myself, without contacting a company for help? Whether it's by doing something in control panel, or a program I can download, i'll accept all advice and help.

I want to be able to paste an unformated mac address example 000d1a2d3b4d into form field named mac, then when I change fields it automatically formats to a mac address. Example 00:0d:1a:2d:3b:4d after I change fields.
I paste 000d1a2d3b4d hit tab and it turns into 00:0d:1a:2d:3b:4d.

It's one hell of a program, the interface for what I can best describe as a machine simulator thingy ; ) (with Access and Fortran 77). Is there a VB 6 to VB .NET/2005 converter out there? I suppose there is one on Microsoft VB 2005, but how much of the job does it do?
I'm also having trouble finding some code for VB (have a dozen VB6 books) but still can't find most (if not all) of what I need. Anywhere I can go online?

Just set up my PC and thought that I could get Freeview on it but it only tunes terrestrial channels as I just have a coax aerial not going through digibox or anything. Do I have to invest in a digital TV card for my PC to get Freeview? If so any recommendations.
