You need a wireless network printer. They make these; you simply configure your printer's wireless settings to the default gateway that you're using (ie your wireless router's IP address). But these printers need to be bought specifically for this purpose.

There are also wired network printers (more common, cheaper, easier to administer) that serve the same purpose. You plug it into the router and you can add a TCP/IP port to your computers Printers and Faxes CP widget. Make sure to pick Add Local Printer but DEselect "Search for plug and play". Then click add new port and type in the IP address the printer is configured to. This is a very easy setup. Wireless can sometimes be trickier because some printers require that you use their HUGE amounts of proprietary software; others can be configured just as simply. Depends on the model.

In summary: you need a wireless printer. You can not take a regular printer and attach it to a wireless network.

Hope I helped,

Hi

If you have Windows XP you will need to go on the start menu, then click control panel, Then Printers and other hardware, Then printers then click it and to the side it should say share this printer and click that and then sort the settings out,

It should be on the network now and able to access to any computer on the Wireless network and then go into another computer on the network and click start, control panel, Printers and other hardware then printers and it should come up with that printer on there,

I hope this helps

Connect it to one of the computers (this computer will have to be on if you need to print) then in the control panel open up your printers and faxes window,
In the new window right click your printer and click the sharing option, a new window will open up and then you can check the option to "share this printer"
