SFC.DLL is SYSTEM FILE CHECKER DYNAMIC LINK LIBRARY.

This Dynamic Link Library is use for in win 98 to restore badly corrupted system files. Furthermore if your win98 start bringing up error box then you use this file to find-out if your start-up or any other file is replace by some other software.

To use this file the syntax is RUN
in box type SFC

oops this is the core code file for windows xp you might have to re-install your OS or if you have a xp cd then you can try to retreve the file from the cab files using the SFC function, for a more detailed discription look at this link

try the link below, it has many drivers of all kinds and I would imagine it has that one also.
if you need to register and you usually do at those sites, you may get access (not illegal) just saves you getting lots of rubbish emails. you can try
user name: = drivers
password:= all
