I've heard at least 3 different radio talkshow hosts talking about how people are using My Space to cheat on their boyfriends/girlfriends/spouses....and are getting caught on there...Is it really that bad????

It just so happens that MySpace is getting a lot of publicity. But there are millions of other websites that allow people (men and women) to cheat with less difficulty.

It's all in the person. People have cheating personalities. Places don't usually create cheaters. People are already cheaters in their personality.

Only if that's what they use it for. I have a myspace page and I could care less about the rest of the people on it besides my friends. I made the page because I'm too lazy to design my own webpage, and I would still have a place to put down all of my interests without getting bothered by anyone. If someone is using it to cheat on their girl/boy friend then they should never have a girlfriend or boyfriend to begin with. In that case it's just a tool to draw out the bad seeds. Let's not ruin the freedom of speech because some idiots made a faux pas.

It's not a breeding ground, it just makes it easier to get caught

say your bf/gf doesnt have a myspace and you do. Then you find some guy/girl (im gonna say girl just so its easier to explain for me) on myspace that you like. You start dating her on the side and she leaves little comments of love for you, and you dont care, because youre stupid and think that your girlfriend wont check your site and see that theres comments left there. Then when your girlfriend does she realizes youve been cheating and thats probably what those talk show hosts were talking about.

It isn't my space that are making these people cheat or rapist find there victims. Its all within the individual person. People were using chat rooms as a way to cheat and commit other wrong doings. To blame the website and not the people is completely unfair to the creators of the website. The gives us a resource and we ruin it we take advantage of the opportunity.

If you are going to blame the websites for cheaters cheating you might as well blame cell phones, beepers phone chat lines, The hell with it why not blame everything that involves dealing with the opposite or in some peoples case the same sex.

No matter what kind of forum is put up, if someone wants to cheat they will people were cheating before MySpace and they will continue cheating long after it's gone. Humans are the way they are the only thing that's changed is our sudden accessibility to people in places we otherwise wouldn't have had access to. Friendster could be used the same way, as could most instant messengers or dating web sites or even blogs. Human nature is what it is. Good, bad, and Ugly.

ANY chatroom is breeding grounds for a cheater. As a matter of fact, cheaters are opportunists. Any where can be a breeding ground.

It's not the site, it's the people. You could find someone to cheat on your g/f or b/f with anywhere. People are stupid and irresponsible
