You need OCR software (Optical Character Recognition). You probably got an OCR program on the CD that came with the scanner. Look on it. Or if you do not have the CD, check the manufacterer's web site.

wat kind of scan.... if you mean scanning for virus then it's not necessary to scan.. since Text File can't have Viruses... but if you want to do so select text File > right click > choose Scan with .... antivirus....

if you mean scanning... then you'll need Scanner or Ocr for that

simply by write clicking & scan by antivirus
