I have DSL. I am totally frustrated for weeks. I had tried everything to upgrade my Windows Media Player. It does not work. What am I doing wrong? Specifically could you please explain what should I do with my Windows Media Player to make it work? How can I make the player for me to see the video on the screen with sound without any blanks?

I ran a full virus scan and it detected none. I went to task manager and went to processes and deleted things except the main things like
alg.exe
csrss.exe and etc... but it still is flashing a fake virus alert advertisement for spywarequake. does anyone have any good suggestions?

I have a home laptop that is wifi compatible but havent't researched how to use it that way. I've been using a dialup connection thru AOL (my home use is limited) I just noticed an icon telling me I'm connected to the internet wirelessly, logged out of AOL & sure enough - I'm still on! The connection is weak in the back of the house & very strong in the front. Am I using a neighbor's connection? Is my laptop security compromised?
