either use a debit card, get a prepaid visa card, some places take Echecks, some will let you send them a check or money order

Do not use a Debit card. That is the worst way and they take the money directly out of your account. Either get a credit card (you pay later) or most of the places will wait for you to send a check or Money Order before they send the product.

With PayPal you can send money to an account from your bank account then use that to purchase. You will also be able to get a pay pal credit card when you start you pay pal account.

pay pal and such - you can use your checking account. Some people on eBay will let you mail a check or money order and then send you the stuff after it clears
