I'm referring to traffic signals, specifically in NC, but the question probably applies elsewhere.

It has been about 110 degrees F where I live...as I was driving the freeway yesterday, my "air pressure" warning light went on. I just had my car serviced a week ago, where they checked the pressure and rotated the tires. Could the heat have affected the air pressure?

I have to do an essay on driver safety in America. I need to find out what the requirements are for obtaining a driver's license for those under 18 and those over 18. I can't find a site with the info I need. Help!

No matter the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, or The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or Transport Canada. The cars were design for Germany and they are SAFE, here, there, everywhere. They Must certify any european FORD and OPEL to be sold in USA and Canada ASAP to help recover GM and Ford from the Asian car makers.

A guy was driving very dangerously on the freeway, he not only tailgated me and other drivers, he high beamed me from behind a few times even when I could not change lanes. When he proceeded to pass me he cut me off really sharply causing me to almost collide with him. Is there a way to report awful drivers like this in Chicago (I wrote down his license plate)? Or anywhere else? It not only inpaired my driving (it was at night) and put my life in risk but for other people too...

I live on a little country road that has no speed limit signs and speeding vehicles slide off the road right in front of my house. I have two children and I don't even let them play in the front yard even when I am there with them.

Lets say you get a speeding ticket for about $115.00 .. . One of my friends told me that I should mail in the check for about $124.00 or something... The court will send you the refund check back for $9.00, since its overpaid... You should just trash that check... Your drivers record wont be updated unless that check clears.... and they wont even bother you since it has been paid... The account never gets settled and hence never updated... which means clean driving record..... does this really work?

After 100's of lessons he passed his driving test and got banned for a year within 3 mths, since then he's smashed the back end of his works van causing 7 grands worth of damage (on different occasions) by reversing into the driveway pillar, a barrier, a tree and yesterday he reversed into a groundfloor flat causing the ladders to embedd into the outside wall. creating more damage when he drove frward to free them out. Do you think he should stick with it or give up????

I was at an intersection the other day. This guy was driving his car and he was stopped at a flashing red left turn arrow. A cop pulled up behind him. The cop waited and waited for this guy to turn left and finally the cop beeped his horn, The guy just sat there. The cop got on his PA mike and said, "Sir, the flashing red arrow means to stop, watch for traffic, and then proceed". By now, the flashing red arrow had turned to solid red. So what does the guy do? He starts to take off. Once again, the cop got on his PA and said, "Not NOW sir, not NOW!"
I think this guy should have to have a bumper sticker that says, "Caution, dumb@ss driver inside".

i know they want the people in front of them to go faster, but why do people tailgate if theres another lane open? theyre just wasting their time. whats the whole "revenge" part about it, i dont get it. theyre just asking for an accident- if the person in front of them stops, the tailgater will rear end the person in front and have to pay for damages if theres an accident

I am expecting my 3rd child. My first two are in boosters seats. They are not big enough to sit w/o them. I'd like to drive a reasonably sized car (I have a minivan but parking it can be hell). Is there a non-huge car out there that can actually accomodate one infant seat and two boosters across the back seat?
