An accident has ocurred and there is a juvenile in the same car that ends up being transported to the hospital. There were 4 people total in the vehicle and three were transported to the hospital.

I'm turning 18 in a couple months and getting my driver's license. For my first car, I want my deceased Dad's '97 F-150 so I don't have to pay for a vehicle. My grandma has it in storage but won't let me have it because she believes driving a truck is too difficult for a beginning driver.
Do you any positive info about trucks that I could tell her so I can get her to change her mind and get my Dad's truck in two months?
Thanks!

If a ball joint breaks on a car while it is turning into a parking space can it throw the car out of control and/or cause one or more brakes to lock up? Even if the tire does not fall off ? Will greasy or oily substance be thrown over the front of the car and on the tire opposite the one with the broken ball joint?

As the speed limit on most roads is maximum 100 km/h, why do the automakers give the ability to go faster than that?

On the freeway, no traffic, and only two lanes. There is a long third lane merging onto the freeway with 4 inch high border.

Version 1:
D1 is merging onto the freeway at 30mph and still maintaing that speed afer traveling another 400 feet. D2 traveling at 65mph and suddenly decides to make a lane change from left lane into the right lane. This causes D1 ( damage only left driver's corner bumper scratches) to hit D2 ( damaged all along passenger side and a larger dent behing the passenger door). D2 stops first. D1 drives pass D2 and stops ahead of him.

Version 2:
D2 traveling at 60mph going is straight. D1 after merging onto the freeway travels at around 70MPH tries to merge to into the far left lane and collided with D2. Causing the damages as described above. D1 stops on the right fist, then D2 stopped behind him.....

WOuld it get you mad if a police officer concluded that in an accident report that you driving the freeway limit (65MPH) and you are at fault...hBecause the other driver driving at 30 mph hit you?....Only damaging the driver's corner bemper only... assuming there are only two lanes....Does that make sense..

Does four wheel drive actually help in snowy/icy weather? I read the car manual, and it says that 4WD provides more traction, but some guys at work told my husband that it doesn't really make a difference.

I believe that it's the careless driving BECAUSE you think you're safe with 4WD that removes any benefits the 4WD might provide. Does anyone know for real?

I was riding along with a friend when we got into a pretty bad car accident. We were driving down the road when this lady decide that she wanted to turn right (the direction) just when we were within a few feet from her. We really did not have much time to react because it happened within seconds. We rear-ended her car and totaled the car.
Details:
We were: Driving down a 2 lane street heading towards a intersection.
She was: Trying to get on to the 2 lane street we were on from a adjacent parking area.
