You, Would you speed up or would you pull in front of me going 70 in a Big Rig? If your answer is pull in front of me, why? Do you have a death wish?

yes_its_me,
I don't live in the buck-eye or the land of fruits and nuts. The speed limit in Fl is 70 for cars and trucks!

1. What is a "speed limit" in Florida:
The minimum speed? Or the maximum speed?

2. There is a practical answer, and a theoretical answer.
Theoretically, I could go any speed in any lane, as long as I'm going equal or greater than the minimum speed, and equal or less than the maximum speed.

Practically, I would be foolish to drive 65 mph in the fast lane, if the maximum speed limit is 70 mph, AND traffic, road and weather conditions are ideal.

Tailgater are idiots. Period.

First of all you are exceeding the speed limit for trucks and that is the beginning and end of the problem. If you were doing 55 or 6o then the person in the left lane would be able to pull to the right and not be in anyone's way. I love the way that truckers think they own the highway and that the speed limits apply only to passenger cars. Slow down, take a little longer to get there and save a few lives. There is a lot more to life than earning a few extra bucks and taking risks to do it.

I would most likely pull in front of you going 70mph. Your not suppose to drive in the fast lane going 65... that's why it's called the "FAST LANE."

Let's get one thing cleared up right now. The only "big rig" that you drive is your girlfriend. That pretty much settles your question, now, doesn't it?
