Let's say you were driving in a car or riding in one and it was late at night or even the middle of the day what would you be scared about while in the car? Would it be a drunk driver hitting you, getting a ticket, or causing an accident?

I need refernces to written studies and/or (preferably California case law) which show and justify that minor rear-end collisions, with small amounts of auto damage can produce longer tha expected and more costly medical treatments

He’s going to resist giving up his license. He was a firefighter and used to drive the hook-and-ladder outfit and swing that mother around tight corners. But that was 60 years ago. He and my mother live in an assisted living place that has a van to take them places and I could drive them anywhere else but getting him to give up driving is going to be hell on a hot plate. Anybody else go through this and have any ideas?

When I say forever, I am referring to it’s durability in using it repeatedly. Since it is bulletproof, does that mean it is *always* capable of stopping/deflecting bullets, or does it mean it is like a one time thing? For example, say a police car that has bulletproof glass windows gets caught in a shoot out. If the car windows get shot six times, does it still hold the same durability as it had before it was shot, or can it, (after a lot of hits) eventually break?

Being that most of us drive at or about 80mph on the freeway, should that be the national speed limit? why or why not?

Texas is the first. Do you think other states will follow?

Wearing a seatbelt only saves/kills your own life, not others. It is the same as drinking.

My friends and I were arguing whether or not you have to pull over for emergency vechilces even if im on the other side of the street and there's a divider seperating the two sides. I dont feel like I should have to pull over if im on the oppoosite side of the street, but my friends insist that I do. Let me know if im wrong for this so I wont get a ticket.

I just finished a three day/night bus trip. Twice I encountered people who gave me crap about reclining my seat because they had long legs. I gave in rather than get into more conflict with them. Yeah, they would have been less comfortable with my seat back, but hey, I was less comfortable not being able to put it back. It's hard enough sleeping on a bus without being able to lie back a little.
Maybe they should have to purchase two seats like really fat people have to sometimes.
Next time I will recline my seat, and if you kick it, I'll kick yer head, ya selfish futher muckers!

If you can find research to support your answer that would be greatly appreciated, especailly if you can post it by November 29 or 30. This is for a class I am taking. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

My dad going throught an intersection (yellow light as he told me) and the other car made a left turn, he hit that car on the rear passenger side. After that he stopped and step out of the car, he saw the other driver waving in the air so my Dad thought the other driver tell him to go (my Dad couldn't speak good English and he was scared so he fled away). My Dad reported to the insurance company after that, and the next day we got a phone call from the police that the other driver reported my Dad passed the red light and Hit & Run (the other driver has a wittness). We just got the police report with Hit and Run felony (Code 20002) and a court apointment. Could anyone tell me what is the charge for my Dad and do we need to hire an attorney or contact the other driver to settle down the lawsuit? Our insurance company will pay for the damage, I just don't want anything happen to my dad.
Pls help, I really appreciate that. Thanks
