Call a Lawyer... Get a good advertised Lawyer that does car Accidents... Do NOT talk to their insurance company without a Lawyer by your side.... Some Lawyers will work your case for a % of settlement some for set fee then Hourly once the 1st steps are taken... You have to decide which is best for you... % is mine.

I'm not a fan of the Lawyer but you have some issues that only a lawyer can help you with...

Truck was totalled and wasn't worth much but replacing it will cost double for sure...
Doctor Bills will keep coming...

If you post year and model of truck can look up average value...

Good Luck...

If you have a deductible of $500, your vehicle is totaled, there was no apparent prior damage, and you have paid off the vehicle you would receive approximately $1845.00. That is assuming you received the correct book value that your insurance company uses. There are usually three amounts for book value (retail, loan, or trade value) and depending on the laws of your state and the insurance policy itself one of those three amounts are used and the retail value is generally the value most easily found.
