I have had a couple incidents at the exact same junction where i go to pull out and the wheels go crazy with wheel spin, today it was quite a cheeky little pull out and my car slowed right down to a halt wheels just spinning, took my foot off the gas and started over and they spun again. I dont have this problem at any other junction but what is the proper practise to counteract when your wheels spin?

drive on the motorway with boyfriend. He flashes his lights to let a driver know they can go into the space in front from their lane. Not many people flash indicators back to say thanks. My question is: if a driver does you the kindness of letting you move safely - at least thank them. Politness costs nothing. Just needed to say that (doesn't apply to truck and lorry drivers - they always say thanks).

I am a senior and, when I learned to drive, test points were deducted if I allowed the steering wheel to slide in my hands. My daughter's driving instructor told her that it is OK to do that. Have the rules changed over the years? Is it OK to let the wheel slide as long as you think you have adequate control while it happens?

Cars with rear wheel drive are the worst to drive in stormy, inclement weather, so why are they still made? Why don't they just focus on front wheel drive and 4x4?

I have an invention I want to submit but don't have the finances, there are roughly 1.9-2.4 million accidents from my research related to my invention, and more that could be prevented that are blamed on other factors. This idea could help prevent at least 40-60% of them, and I am not being unrealistic or over zealous.
I don't want to disclose my idea in the fear it can be stolen. I really want to start approaching auto manufucturers in the hope one of them will be willing to help me with the cost of patenting it and offering it to other auto manufucturers.
Is there any suggestion you can give, I don't really need elaborate display's as it is such a simple idea, all I need is the protection that once revealed, they can't use the idea for themselves without buying the rights.
I would hire an attorney, but they require upfront payment which I don't have at the moment. I would wait till I have the money, but people are dying every single day.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
