I recently purchased an '06 Jeep Wrangler, and at the behest of one of my good buddies I purchased a Lockright locker for the Dana 35 rear differential. I live in an area notorious for extreme winter weather, ice and snow. Should I feel any less protected with the locked differential?

It never fails. Whenever I try to find a parking space, inevitably, some person who drives an SUV or big truck will park in a compact spot and take up two spaces. Why do they do this? Can they not see that their huge vehicle doesn't fit and that the space says "compact"? What can we do to solve this problem? It makes sense for everyone to driver smaller cars so we can alleviate all the parking nightmares we have out in the big cities! Maybe SUV drivers should pay more for parking?

I've been told both ways: 1) that those little red pushbuttons mounted on pedestrians' STOP and WALK signal poles have no effect on the duration on stoplights and are put there to "pacify" impatient pedestrians; and 2) that they do indeed shorten the time a pedestrian has to wait for the light to change. What's the truth?

i work for a company that makes a license plate frame with a white LED built into it to light up the plate. I want to get it DOT approved so I can sell it across the US and put on it DOT approved. I know stuff like motocycle helmet and headlights get DOT approval. I have contacted the DOT and they seem to have no idea what i am reffering to they have sent me all over the place.

My huband has informed me as well as police that the yellow mile signs are only suggested speeds. EX: The exit sign or curve sign that say 15 or whatever milage. Now IF you have an accident and over the posted speed limit you will get a ticket. Do many people know that? I think it is so sillly.

My friend has 2 kids and is now pregnant with twins. She needs a car that all of them can fit in safely- she doesn't want a van, obviously if she has to she will- but she'd rather get an SUV....also she doesn't have a lot of money...

any suggestions?

I've just started learning how to drive but found it really hard to get the hang of it because you need to put so little pressure on the accelerator.

Are there any tips you can give me for when you first start out?
