How do I run the seat belt in an 2002 Camaro throught the little black ring on the side of the seat so it doesn't rub on my neck?

Get a seat belt "sleeve" or "wrap" that folds around the shoulder belt portion. It will ease the rubbing on your neck without taking away the safety features of the seatbelt. It is usually made of lamb's wool or a synthetic "wool". Other "fixes" that have not been crash-tested, I would not use. If you alter the seat belt, or reposition it, you can possibly be altering the way it behaves in a crash. Read the vehicle owner's manual for advice on how to use the seatbelt properly. Maybe it's the seat that needs to be adjusted for your height, not the seatbelt. Call the customer service office at the dealership and ask to speak with a technical service representative about your problem with the seatbelt. Keep asking 'til you get the answer you need!

If you go to a GM dealer, they have the pads available that you can attach with Velcro (already sewn on) and it will give it a softer touch.

I had the same issue with my Pontiac. You may also be able to find them in the automotive section of Kmart or Walmart as well, or in any auto parts store. Hope that helps, because mine used to feel like it was going to cut my artery. :<)

rather than doing that, that would probubly take alotta time you should get a seat belt holder it locks onto the seat belt across your waist and has a hook on it where you can put your belt across your chest down on it... to protect you but not choke you
