It never fails. Whenever I try to find a parking space, inevitably, some person who drives an SUV or big truck will park in a compact spot and take up two spaces. Why do they do this? Can they not see that their huge vehicle doesn't fit and that the space says "compact"? What can we do to solve this problem? It makes sense for everyone to driver smaller cars so we can alleviate all the parking nightmares we have out in the big cities! Maybe SUV drivers should pay more for parking?

I consider extraordinarily a lot each and everything you're saying yet you're gonna ought to relax only a touch. automobiles are like human beings, some are massive, some are genuine massive, some are all distinct colors. heavily, you could say the same top element about fat those who they do about SUVs. They take in too a lot area, they devour too a lot nutrition, and they stink the position up. yet contained in the solid previous united statesof A we've managed to develop into somewhat tolerant, so we stay and allow stay. to boot, the the elements-fascists heavily isn't chuffed with eliminating the SUVs; they received't stop till we are all driving bicycles, or perhaps better, walking. Taking and proscribing and prohibiting. it is the nature of fascism. What we favor is better tolerance and love and files. better Kumbaya. definite, even for rednecks in Humvees. What do Ichronic? happy you requested. An '80 2 Toyota 4X4 pickup.

We put too much precedence on rights and entitlement. As americans we figure that we have the right to drive anything we want to and when we pay for garage parking we have the right to take any space we want.

I admit that there have been many times when I have done exactly what you are talking about. Sometimes I am running late for a meeting or I am behind schedule and because I don't have time to drive around to the other side of the garage to look for a space, I will take the first one I see regardless of how big my SUV is.

by most local building codes it require a certain number of parking spaces per a given lot/building/people. so some architects include compact spaces to accommodate this. with this in mind, ask yourself if you had to park in a compact space or not park at all, what would you do? not all compacts park in the compact spaces first thus leaving the rest of us in limbo.

Hmmm...well perhaps you did not notice but in recent years the spaces in parking lots have been reduced because of wee tiny wittle cars from the size they were when we had real cars. The primary reason being that this allows more spaces to be painted into the lots, thus it is the truck and suv drivers who are being discriminated against.

The second part of your question reveals your agenda. You don't like SUV's and trucks and think it's unfair that you have to drive a small POS. This is America. We have the right to purchase and drive any vehicle of our choosing. We also have the right to park in a parking lot wherever we choose (except handicapped and fire lanes). If you don't like it.......too f--king bad. The store can just make larger spaces for everyone instead of trying to go along with the government and force everyone to drive tiny pieces of crap. BTW, we don't complain when small cars park in larger spaces so kwityerbitchen.
