Use your Dipped beam. The one that is brighter than your side lights but not as bright as your main beam

DIPPED HEADLIGHTS : You can use your full beam when there is no other road user in front of you, ie: when following any vehicles or when other vehicles are coming towards you - so that you do not dazzle or blind any other driver.

DIM!!!!!!!! You should never bright your lights when there is oncoming traffic. Not only is it illegal, but it is unsafe and RUDE!
