im 18, just graduated high school, and cant afford to drive my truck anymore. I'm selling it for a little more than I paid for it, I paid 3500 and going to sell it for about 3800$. I then found a 1998 ford Taurus, for 2,000$ with a/c, sunroof, cloth interior 117k miles and runs great.... check engine light is off too... I just dont want to get a girly car, or anything that is going to make me feel really gay for having the car. Is this a girl car?? I also intend too tint the windows cause I like to have my privacy... and its beige, which doesn't help the manly side of it.

Does the people use it often? Or we can just stick with regular D (Driving) mode throughout the lifetime of the car. What difference does it make to the handeling/ longetivity of the engine?

I don't know what else I can possibly do! I don't make enough money in my job to afford to pay a car payment and insurance, I can't stand my job, but I can't look for a new job because I have no way to get there, and I don't have great credit, and I have no savings. So basically, I'm out of luck! I make just enough money to pay my bills and survive, but I would love to have a better career.. I'm in a sort of catch-22... can anyone help?!?

I have a 2003 Saab 9-3 SE. I am interested in changing it from an automatic to a manual transmission but I have a couple questions. First of all, could I do it for relatively inexpensive? I have seen other answers for other cars and I saw that if you get all the stuff for a manual tranny from a junkyard you can get it all installed and everything for under $1000. Is this likely to mess up my car?? Is there a way the person could install it wrong and it would ruin my car? I don't know much about cars at all so the more information that you can give me the better!! Thank you for your help!!

Well he tore the A/C out and we found that the Timing belt was ripped. we're already to put it back in but we dont know how. lol we called the Auto Parts ppl but they didnt know anything. so if anybody knows anything plz comment back.

I like car performance and all it's just those things just annoy me. A good rumbble is one thing but to listen to not a whine. Its like a mopad on crack. They make tons of noise but go nowhere. I usually pass them just for some peace and quiet. The whole thing of taking a 100hp car and putting in tons of money to get them to reach 200hp if lucky I find strange. Just by a car with 200 hp to begin with. I think the only people who must really like them is cops at least they can hear coming a mile away. Why draw attention to yourself if gradma' caddy can blow by ya.
