Well he tore the A/C out and we found that the Timing belt was ripped. we're already to put it back in but we dont know how. lol we called the Auto Parts ppl but they didnt know anything. so if anybody knows anything plz comment back.

You must time the intermediate shaft also. Align the crankshaft mark with the mark on the intermediate shaft gear. The camshaft gear has a small hole in it that must be at the top. Align the small arrows with the top of the front camshaft cap. Install the belt and tighten it. If the tensioner pulls the cam off the marks, loosen the tensioner and belt and rotate the cam back a little and reinstall. Turn the engine 2 full turns and recheck the marks.

I'm not familiar with the Reliant, but on most cars there is a marking on both the cam sprocket and crank sprocket. Once you line these up, slide on the timing belt and see if it starts.

The K-series have non-interference motors, so you're not going to damage your valves if you get it wrong.

Hate to break it to you but your best bet is to get to repair manual for the car. Setting the timing sucks. You might as well take off all the plug wires and figure out the firing order.
