NO,NO,NO. We pay enough already in road tax, petrol, insurance. This is just another government stealth tax .and another step in the Big Brother direction. Removing every car from the road would have no effect on global warming because gw is a myth which has been nurtured by the Labour Gov. and the media. Whenever there is no real news such as a war or other such catastrophe they wheel out the Global warming rubbish. How much more can we Brits take ???
2 million people voted against this crap on the online petition but still this pig headed Gov, think they know best. When will they ever listen to us ?

I say ! we all seem to be in agreement :)

How could anyone but a politician (who gets either a gov car or a hefty travel allowance) be in favour of this new nightmare?
We are over taxed as it is...we all know this and we all know that the end is not in sight, what we also know is that the jaded British public will also be unlikely to all come out and vote at the next election, I will but only because i feel that voting is the the one voice i have that as even the remotest hope of making a difference.

We might get labour to loose a majority (in which case we can all look forward to a labour/lib Dem alliance) but i doubt we will see the end of Gordon's taxes even then.

Will the nation vote conservative? I doubt they will get any more then the slightest of majorities...in which case we will see the labour/lib Dem alliance anyway...and still be paying those blasted taxes... Hope is dead.

No because they are trying to make extra money out of the public. We pay for those roads in our Car tax already.Trust the government to forget that they have encouraged everyone to buy cars so they could get extra taxes through car imports etc.Where would they be without the public buying cars ,petrol, car accessories, motorbikes, oil ,they are totally selfish and unreasonable .Roll on the Great British Revolution.Who would vote for a new kind of Government made up of chosen members of the public.

We pay too much as it is for life's little pleasures so not unless the Government is going to pay us £1,000,000 each for all the hard work we do, then no, I think its a crap idea.

Would MP's seek to exclude themselves from any such charges - they already have blocked us from finding out how their expenses add up!

No - they have no idea. It's okay if you have a job that is two miles away from home but I don't! I'd have to change jobs and get lesser paid work and then claim benefits to top my money up. Full Circle eh!
