Out of curiosity, since gas in California is almost $3.00 a gallon, when you are pumping gas and someone goes on the other side of the pump and starts pumping their gas, is there a slight decrease in the amount of gas your tank receives? When they start, I always hear a click of the pump, does that effect your pumping at all?

Why is it that so many dealerships out there have such crummy service? This is a serious question - I have had domestic, Euros, and Japanese cars and almost all the dealerships for these different makes had baaaaaaaad service. They were all very nice when I was buying a car, but to order parts, etc it often can be a headache and the parts people are not very customer service oriented (especially if you are ordering "extras" for your car). Seriously, would it not be in their best interest to keep you happy so you buy more cars from them? I was going to surprise my wife with a racing jersey (she is really into it) from a dealership, and they couldn't even order it after two weeks!!

It's really wierd, but I don't see many cars from the 1980s or even early 1990s with any regularity. Where are these cars going? Not to the junkyard, a lot of them must have low miles. Are they being bought by wholesalers and shipped out of the country to Mexico and South America? Anybody have any insight?

(which is a Boxster) that says "My other car is a Porsche". He thinks this is really funny, since my other car IS a Porsche. I am worried that it isn't so funny, but makes me sound like a pretentious tool (which I'm not). What do you think? Funny or not?

I own a tow truck company in the MD area and I am looking for a some drivers...

Why do they bother building them? They can't tow anymore then 12,500lbs. Their big blocks do that. They try to compare to FORD and DODGE but they don't. Dodge can tow 16000lbs anf FORD is 19200lbs.

I need to tow this truck with an 1800lb car trailer and I need to know if the combined weight will be more than my 1996 Chevy Tahoe 4WD can handle. I'm guessing about 5,000 lbs, but I wanna be sure. Someone told me to check the side panel, but that only gives me GVWR, the weight that the truck can handle. Please help. Thanks!

I am just curious to hear peoples responses. My first car was an orange 1979 Ford Pinto that I bought for $100 when I was 14. I traded it for a tan 1969 Ford F-100 before I even had my license, so really the truck was the first car that I drove.

Doe they leave anything letting you know where you can reclaim your car? How do I know if it was repossesd or stolen? I woke up and my car is gone! I owed, but I got no letters or calls.
