Why do they bother building them? They can't tow anymore then 12,500lbs. Their big blocks do that. They try to compare to FORD and DODGE but they don't. Dodge can tow 16000lbs anf FORD is 19200lbs.

I have done my research for those that are just blinded by the light. I have a friend with a DURAMAX. IT SUCKS! I have a 98 F350 POWERSTROKE with a orginal 303K. I can drag the damn chevy down the street. It has a max TOWING of 12,500LBS. My 98 has a max 15000lbs. Look at the yr differnce.

You need to do more research so you don't sound stupid asking questions. Have a nice day.

By the way, I drive a 2006 F-250 4X4 with the 6.0 Powerstroke. A friend of mine bought a 2006 Chevy with the durumax diesel and allison tranny. I have more brute strength, but his tows much better. Smoother, quiter, more comfortable.
Both are 4WD, Crew Cab, 20 inch wheels.

They're not crap, they're just not real HD diesels like the de-tuned big truck diesel that's in the Dodges.

Because Cummins wrote the book on diesel engine reliability...

Sorry if that hurts anyones feelings.. they will just have to find out the hard way.. with their pocket book.
