I have tried to check, using the VIN to get a free car report. carfax doesn't do it and I have been to other sites. Are there any sites out there that I can go to for free and see my car history report?

This past weekend I met up with some friends to play basketball and before the game we got into a debate about whether or not the Subaru Outback is a cool car for guys our age (25-30). 6 out of 10 felt very strongly that it was a very cool car for younger guys due to its outdoor capabilities (we all are very active, i.e. backpacking, surfing, etc.), while the other 4 kept saying that regardless of its outdoor capabilities it is still a wagon and uncool. What do you guys think?

This area has some streets paved and others are bumpy dirt roads. Does anyone know how they make the decision to pave it? Does there have to be a certain number of houses maybe?

The last two cars they did, although nice, are really just re-stylings of the Countach and might be considered by some not to be the most un-surprising and original ideas.

I lost the only set of keys to my truck. They also have an alarm on it. I bought it from a dealership in 99' and paid off in 2004. Would I still be able to get a copy of the keys from them? If not, what would be my most cost effective option?

I got a 235 dollar fine and a 55 surcharge from the city of Albany? I think the 55 is not fair, I don't even know what is that. What would happen if I didn't pay for all of this since I don't live in NY anyway.

Do you think there should be one? If so what age? I lived in Florida for most of my life and I HATED the winter because of all the snowbirds that drove 35 mph on the interstate with their left blinker on for the entire time...they never looked back when they went in reverse...half of them can't see over the steering wheel...they take up 2 lanes with their huge caddys... Oh man I'm sorry I'm getting worked up lol

Why is it getting more and more difficult to find cars with manual transmissions nowadays? Are people just too lazy to operate them? I prefer them. Besides, they offer many benefits over autos -better mileage, cheaper, less maintainence, more efficient energy transfer.. the list goes on.
