your paying for a better quality product. honda is the better vehicle hands down

You are paying for the brand name. Honda is a more respected brand than Hyundai.
Also, look at the feature, the power, the torque, what comes standard vs what is optional, the warranty. All these pay a part in the price. However, the main reason would be the brand name.

Thats why I bought the Sonata, I got a great car and my wallet is fatter!! I really don't care about the brand name Honda over Hyundai.

probably brand recognition; people feel that hondas are very reliable cars, so they will pay more for them. because hyundai is a newer brand of car, people are less likely to trust the brand, so the company probably has to charge less to be able to more the Sonatas off the lot.

go drive both of them and you will see why. my mom just bought a new accord and wow. It's a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder......tons of power and acceleration at 100 mph.
AND IT'S A 4 CYLINDER
anyone who doesn't like Honda just doesn't know cars.
