Sure, there are some cars with more miles than that on them.
One fellow had a VW bug with over a million miles on it.
Check this out:

Guinness Book Of Records Names 1966 Volvo P1800 'Highest Car Mileage' Record Holder
ROCKLEIGH, N.J., Nov. 23 -- The Guinness Book of Records has
officially named a 1966 Volvo P1800 as the vehicle holding the record for the
'Highest Car Mileage.'
The car currently has over 1,671,000 miles and is driven every day by
its original owner, Irv Gordon of East Patchogue, New York who purchased
the car brand new in 1966 from Volvoville in Massapequa, New York.
The car has collected miles on many trips throughout the United States
and Canada, as well as an overseas tour through England, Sweden,
Denmark, Holland and Germany. Next, Mr. Gordon will drive it to Dallas
for the International Autobody Congress and Exposition trade show taking
place December 4-6. Both man and car will be on hand at the Volvo booth
and welcome visitors.
How does Mr. Gordon explain the durability and longevity of his vehicle?
"I treat my car with love -- I maintain and clean it regularly, and I
always use Genuine Volvo Parts during servicing."

For one you won't find a Chevy with a million miles on it that hasn't had the engine replaced a dozen times. Some diesel trucks ( NOT BIG RIGS ) have over 750K. The most famous vehicle with over 750K is the VW BUS. But your talking extremely well taking care of vehicles. Your AVERAGE car or truck is dieing off at like 150K to 180K.

yes it is very possible to have a car with 750,000 + on it.... now whether or not that is the original motor would be debateable... in fact, if that is the original motor, then i would steer clear of the car because you will be looking at an overhaul soon...... are you planning on buying this thing or just curious? let me know if i can be of any other help to you.

It's possible. Diesel engines have been known to go a million miles in some cases.

YES. Some diesels get over a million miles on them. It's a lot more unusual for a gas engine to get that, but it does happen.

Yes. There is club for people who have cars with over 1,000,000 miles on them. Obviously there have been repairs made over those miles but it is considered the same "car" as long as the engine block is original. Back in the 60's when Chevy designed their small block they designed it to go 1,000,000 miles.

I believe the volvo no longer has its original engine. I think that half the cars out there have this capability, but they have to be babied every mile. No burning rubber.
