I'm asking this here instead of in the Selling category because I think that's too generic.

I am selling my 98 Magna. I had it lowered to about 26" when I bought it. My question is, should I "unlower" it or leave it as is? I'm concerned that the lowering kit will deter buyers - but my husband thinks we should let them spend the money to raise it back up.

I do have all the original parts so that won't be an issue.

What do you think - leave it as is and wait for another shortie to come along, or spend (how much???) to put it back to its original state?

If you're at a bike festival and some solicitors turn up with a stand, what would make you talk to them? In particular, what advertising (particularly posters or banners).

Please keep in mind that you wouldn't want to see these solicitors wearing next to nothing trying to look glamourous draped over a bike! And they wouldn't want to tarnish their image by having someone else do so either, especially if it meant paying them!

It is being sold at a dealership, it has 45,000miles, I am told it is in good running condition. It had new tires put on last year, and had it's carb cleaned and starter redone. This would be my first bike and I'm a little clueless on what I'm doing.

Anyone know of a website that I can use to find longer forks for my Honda? What does it mean when people say they went so many inches over manufacturer with the forks? I understand the degrees part.

i don't mean like, wanting to go and shove your **** up the exhaust pipe or anything, but like, a bit of a turn on.

i don't know how to explain it, but its like, i could just go somewhere and keep going

it mainly only happens with motorcycles with me, but does it happen with anybody else? with other vehicles?

i dunno if its the way they look, or the sound, or what, i find it weird though, as i can't get my head round it lol

I just got a new battery for my 1974 Honda CB550 four. The instuction seem like rocket science to me. I thought I was going to be able to just throw in the new battery and ride off. Now I have all these complicated steps. Its a 12N9 4B1 battery. The battery acid is seperate in the box. What am I supposed to do? I have never worked with BATTERY ACID before and it freaks me out a little bit. What should I do?

Do I need to charge it? Do I need a motorcycle battery charger? Why is this so complicated?

Thanks,

Ed
