If you had to explain to someone who has never riden before, how riding made you feel before, whilst, and after riding what would you say?
I know for me it is freedom never experience whilst driving a car, you the bike & elements all become one, but what about the rest of you?

Ok I am trying to restore a 1971 kawasaki f8 and I am having trouble with getting the bike to run, I had it runnng for a few days then put it away for a week now I cant figure it out. It is getting good compression (140psi) which you have to remember this bike only had a compression ratio of 6.8-1. It is getting fuel, I just bought a new coil and wire for it and is getting spark. I tipped bike upside down to blow out gas in crankcase out. Exhaust is clear, THis bike doesn't even try to start I am so confused. Please any help My spark is blue but I have deff seen better spark before.

My uncle gave me a yamaha blaster,and it doesnt have the model plate... it is also a four stroke . Ive never seen a four stroke blaster... does anyone know the year a four stroke blaster was made???

This is a hypothetical question. It's not a trick question. Please no answers about how this would never happen and that Harleys are no good, etc. We all know there will never be only one bike manufactuer. I'm just curious how deep some people's dislike for Harleys really goes and if they would give up something they enjoy, or not.

Hello, I just parchused a 1995 750 Honda Magna And removed the gas tank & fenders to paint them , now i assembled all together, there`s gas going into carb, but the deam thing won`t start . Any Ideas?

This probably ain't gonna get anyone the 10 points. I'm wondering if other H-D riders are as obsessed with engine heat as I am. I use my Dyna as a commuter bike. Lot's of stop and go. I use 20-50 Amsoil synthetic and am wondering if I should try an additive like Lucas or slick 50. I don't mind the heat coming off it, just want to make my baby last as long as I can before the 7 grand rebuild. Just so you have a clue, it's a TC-88 and I ride in Florida. She's a great gal, and I want to do all I can to keep her in good shape. All info that I can verify is welcome. No Jap tricks though, just big twin. Thanks!

Is it illegal to HAND pull a dirtbike down a road(public)? I have a friend I can ride with about 135 ft(google mapped) down hill... Also, from personal experience, will a DB fit into a minivan without the 2 back rows?

It's a '71 yamaha dt 250. It's a new spark plug and I replaced the stator and ignition coil with used parts. I even tried a couple different spark plug caps and got the same results.

First off i'm wondering if anyone sells a diesel scooter in America. Second, i would rather create my own, the type of body style i would like i can't think of what to call it to search or find pictures. Buts its the exposed frame kind, usually black with big wheels, something that would probably come in as a kit. I saw someone go by my house on one one time but haven't see any since then. Thanks

as of 2 days ago my bike started, yesterday i adjusted the idle, and started her up and went around the block, it seemed like it was bogging really bad, i brought the bike in the garage reved it to about 4000 rpm the exhaust starting popping it then shut off and now i cant get it started again. what could be the problem?

I have a honda NV400 (shadow) with a vee-twin engine. It has been running smoothly until last week, when it started to vibrate. This doesn't seem to affect the ride but I can feel a serious vibration through the foot-pegs as soon as I hit 5000rpm.

I live in Vietnam, and my mechanic will always answer "no problem" unless something is actually falling off, and as I am reduced to miming and pointing, its quite hard to get any fine tuning done at all.

I would appreciate any possible diagnosis, so I can arm myself with a few things for the mechanic to check when I next visit him.

Thanks for any ideas....

I recently aquired another Harley. I have all the receipts from "an Authorized dealer" installing a "Jazz" catch can to retrieve any expelled oil from the rocker box breathers(funny they make such a thing since Harleys don't puke oil). It pukes oil. I'd like to have some Harley riders explain. I am a preferred "metric rider". Maybe you can explain the proper way to vent a Harley rocker box such as I have done to my other Harley so it doesn't puke oil all over my girlfriends white leather pants. And so maybe I could take it to a track day and it would be legal like my other Harley instead of being a poser. The "Authorized Dealer" couldn't accomplish that. Remember.... if it's not vented properly... it WILL blow the rocker gaskets and puke even more oil.

I was working on getting my Suzi running, and finally did. Then I turned the ignition off. When I turned it on again the indicator lights wouldn't go on and I couldn't get the bike started again. The tail/brake light still works. Any ideas as to what might be going on?
