I dont have a license to ride a bigger capacity bike.

In a street bike, go for one of the dual purpose models, like the Kawasaki KLX250S:

It has the most height you'll will get in an on-road 250 bike. Seat height is 34.8 inches.

If your talking about a dirtbike all 250cc's are basically the same size, but if your talking about 250cc motorcycle i'd go with a bigger size maybe Suzuki 750

Dude, I'm 5'5" and I ride a 750. Why don't you just go for the bigger bike? You'll never be able to get on a 250 comfortably.

I hope that your talking about a dirt bike. If you are I would go with a 450 4-stroke. 2-stroke's are going obsolete, production stopped this year on all models and makes.

A dual purpose bike (enduro/street-dirt) will be your best bet.

go to some motorcycle dealers and try some on for size,maby some of the 250 jap harley lookalikes may fit. get a cheep one until you can up grade your license, and have fun..

get a 250 ninja and stuff a sv650 shock on it and stiffer front springs
