Some love them... Others are mortified. It works for me. I've been riding motorcycles since 1966. I'm now too old for motocross but I still like to go for little rides. I'm running a Yamaha V-Max now. It dispatches tailgaters proficiently and is comfortable for 500 miles or less. I'll probably trade it in this next year on a BMW K1200GT. When I ride, I'm alive. I get energy from it. I can smell and feel the world around me. I breath deeper and ride cheaper. Instead of seeing the world through a windshield (which feels like I'm seeing a movie about being there) I am there. Anyone who rides enough, knows that you stop thinking about what you have to do to operate your bike. You think about where you want to go and your reality is translated into that thought.
Survival isn't enough. To ride is to live.

I absolutely love riding! I'm 40 years old and just bought my first bike. I bought a Yamaha V-Star Custom 650 cc. It is beautiful. I bought a used one from a Yamaha mechanic. I know it has been well taken care of.
I'm just learning and it can be a bit scary at times. It's not so much me, but other people pulling out in front of you or just plain not seeing you.
I can't say what type I like yet, because this is the only one I've had. I do so enjoy it though.

i loooovvveee motorcycles. i was born into the wonderful world of motorcycles with my dad being an ex racer and my mother riding as well. i race moto-x and have a honda 150 that is actually a 225 and a couple pit bikes and a 230. i love hondas and ducatis

Well I don' t really like motorcycles because my dad got in a crash and lost his left leg. He can' t do a lot. But I do like OCC(orange county choppers)...

I like all kinds of bikes. I've road raced, motocrossed, flat-tracked and TT'd. I've been riding on the street for 40 years this month. I've had over 40 bikes, and currently ride a Suzuki RF900R.

I loved my Honda 550 Supersport driving around San Diego years ago... Not too big, great power, quick, handled g-r-e-a-t.
I particularly like other people's bikes when they have good sound-suppression, no matter what the make is.
