I understand CC stands for cubic centimeter, but CC's of what? And how does that effect the motorcycle's performance?

volume of combined volumes of all cylinders at bottom dead center.formula for cylinder's volume is pi x radius squared x height.multiply that by number of cylinders to get total displacement.larger displacement generally means more power but there are many other factors that affect power output.radius is half the bore.height is the same as stroke.

Cubic Centimeters. That is the volume of the combustion chamber. The more CC's the bigger the engine and the more power you have.

In laymans terms it's the volume of compression available of all cylinders combined in an engine. Even though a 250cc will do 80 mph and a 750cc will do 80mph, the 250cc will have to work harder to to maintain that 80mph than the 750cc. So if you plan on being a daily rider or taking long trips, then a larger cc bike is needed in order to prevent premature failure of the bike.

cc is the displacement of the pistons. i do no longer thinl you are able to affiliate bhp (brake horsepower) with mileage. bhp is the horsepower on the output shaft of the motor or engine producing the skill. it effects the performance in the respect that more CC's the bigger the motor so to speak.
