though i swear i am doing everything right the frigging fuel cap will not go on for ages like it'll go on but i cant get the key out..its sposed to be able to turn to the left right so i can withdraw my key and no matter how i rationlize it..seems to be all down to screwing around with it for ages and then works for so reason at all. makes me look like dork in the gasser which is fine but i have slight paranoid fear that one day it will not go on and i will be trapped in gas station forever! does anyone else have this problem? what the heck is up with that?

I'm looking to get a bike with a salvage title (good way to save some money because most bikes are considered totaled with a little bit of rash on the fairings).
So, where do you buy a salvage bike in Texas? auction, salvage yard, etc.

-Does one need a license to ride a dirt bike?
-Is healthcare/insurance needed to ride?
-(Just a side note) What about motorcycles? What does one need to ride them?

I have enough money to buy one but they think I can’t handle it. They won’t even let me buy myself a Dirt bike because it is ‘too dangerous’. I’m 17. How can I persuade them to let me ride at least a dirt bike?

My friend who rides told me that the law does not require you to have insurance if you ride a motorcycle. He said it's only an option if you want to purchase insurance or not. Is there any truth to this??

My Icon Rubicon is like sharing a metal bucket with a tornado. I would like to install a Chatterbox so the little missus and I can chat while we ride, but both of our helmets are so loud at speed we'd never be able to shout loud enough to be heard.

1982 Kawasaki 440 LTD.

I've already replaced the spark plugs, cleaned the carbs, using fresh fuel, an inline fuel filter, and a brand new and fully charged battery.

But it still won't run and stay running. I have gotten it to start several times with the help of starting fluid, but it keeps dying as soon as the starting fluid is burned off.

Anybody think that the inline filter (new) could be too restrictive? What else could cause it to not stay running?

I'm looking to get a cruiser-style motorcycle, and have noticed that the cheaper brands such as Hyosung use final-drive belts instead of o-ring chains. Is this a significant indicator of lower quality or performance? Is there any real difference between the two types of final-drive?

Also, if anyone has a Hyosung (especially the GV650), please tell me what you think about it, particularly in terms of quality and performance.
