I have been let down so many times now in the quality of servicing that it's frightening. These are just some of my experiences:- bike returned to me sounding like a bags of nails which it didn't do before the service. My tank scratched. The oil drain plug falling out on a roundabout almost causing me to crash. Unable to sort out problems such as occasional stalling in traffic. Rejetting a bike because they said it was running to lean only later to find the bike choking up because it was running too rich. Another bike just serviced by a specialist Ducati repairman, who because of the distance I left it with him for a week only to find the bike had been ridden almost 200kms. It's a catalogue of uncaring incompetence, or is it just me?
I've even had loads of problems with new bikes, such GSX 550EF fitted with the wrong size main bearing shells. CB900FA with 1800miles, all the internals replaced after riding along in town and a tremendous clattering sound came from the engine.

Buying my first set of motorcycle leathers and wondering what should I look for. Are there any advantages to buying textiles? Does the armour need to be CE approved? I found a 2 piece which I like on sale at £79.99, is this too cheap to be reliable??

I have replaced the exhaust system already, and re jetted it for that.
Now I am planning on getting a K&N or similar performance air filter and need to know if re jetting is going to be necessary for that as well? Thanks.

I have heard that if you ride a 250cc-500cc engine you are at a greater risk than a 600cc-1000+cc. Is this true? and if so why?

I am 19 years old, have a suv and am thinking about getting a motorcycle to ride. I don't know much about them, but am looking to get something used and hopefully for under 3000. I don't have any idea where to look or what to look for in one. Thanks

Here in Korea, gathering against motorcycle(heavyweight) ban on expressways, highways, car only roads, overpass & etc on March 1 2007.
Motorcycle ban on expressway has been effective since 1972.
Another ban has also been implemented on car only roads since 1991.
If we want to go riding, this is hectic problems to riders.
Due to too many car only roads, we have to detour and cut through
downtown.
If we ride on banned roads, sentenced penalty as a criminal is almost 315 USD. This is not just simple ticket.
Reason for ban is danger,
motorcycles have possibility to cause accidents of 4 wheel cars...... etc.

I am looking for black shirts or T-shirts that have fire/flame designs on them.

I have shopped everywhere and clocked 15 miles on foot to get one, I failed.

Any special websites?

I'm swapping out to a Yosh slip-on and removing the factory airbox for K&N custom filters on my 05 Katana 750. The factory jets are 117.5s. What size jets should I go up to for proper air-fuel ratio? What are the largest size jets that will fit the existing threads, without having to drill and tap? A simple jet swap would be ideal.
